Zhang Yingqiang, birth on Feb 15, 1964, native place in Tianmen City, Hubei Province, Professor and Doctorial Superior at Research Institute of Higher Education, The School of Education. He is mainly engaged in Research and Teaching Practice of Higher Education Theories and Policies.
Background of education:
1994-1997,studied Education PhD from Professor Pan Maoyuan at Xiamen University;
1997-1999,post-doctorial research with Professor Lu Jie at Nanjing Normal University.
He is the State Council Expert for Special Allowance(2002),New Century Talent Sponsored by Ministry of Education(2004),Changjiang Scholars Chair Professor of Ministry of Education(2014), Cultural Master &“Four First-batch”Talent of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC(2015) and Leading Talent in Philosophy and Social Sciences of National Program for Support of Top-Notch Young Professionals of National Program for Special Support of Eminent Professionals(2016).
He is also the Chair Professor for teaching Doctorial Programs in Special Research on Higher Education Theories, Special Research on Issues and Policies on Chinese Higher Education and Special Research on Institutional Development Strategy & Planning etc, as well as Master’s Program in Special Research on Higher Education Reform and Development.
Zhang Yingqiang has published over 150 papers on academic journals such as Educational Research and Journal of Higher Educationetc, of which 10 papers were reprinted in full text on Xinhua Digest.He has also published 15 works (Incl. those of him as Chief Editor and Editor), such as Higher Education from the Perspective of Culture, Modernization of Higher Education: Reflection and Construction, Cultural Spirit and Mission of Universities etc.
He has won many awards and titles, such as the Nominee for National Book Awards, First Prize (Once), Second Prize (Once) and Third Prize (Once) at Higher Education Institution Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Awards(Humanities & social Sciences), First Prize (Once) and Second Prize (Once) at National Educational Science Research Outstanding Achievement Awards, First Prize (Twice), Second Prize (Once) and Third Prize (Three) atHubei Social Science Outstanding Achievement Awards.
